Doctrine of The Richman and Lazarus - Part 1:2

Every aspect of scripture, from verses to entire books, serves to reveal the complete counsel of God when studied correctly. It is critical to interpret the Bible by comparing scripture with scripture, as encouraged in 2 Timothy 2:16 and Isaiah 28:10, 13. Central to Christian belief is the omniscience and omnipresence of the Lord Jesus Christ, who possesses perfect knowledge and views all things. The reality of death and the true existence of sin, along with God’s wrath toward both sin and the sinner, underscore the gravity of these concepts, supported by passages like John 3:17 and 36, and Revelation 20:11-15. Hell is depicted as an actual place of torment and judgment, emphasizing the reality of the afterlife, as evidenced by references to figures such as Abraham and the necessity of the writings of Moses and the Prophets. The teachings of the Lord Jesus reinforce the importance of these scriptures and the truths they convey about sin, death, and eternal existence.
