Dealing with a Doubting World

In Luke 17:20 and Matthew 6:33, the Pharisees confront Jesus, demanding answers from Him, the definitive source of truth. Jesus responds firmly to their antagonism, highlighting how their hatred for God has blinded them to His presence and the truth He embodies. This animosity prevented them from perceiving, following, and hearing the very truth they sought. Jesus proclaims the truth regarding the Kingdom of God, referenced in 1 Corinthians 2:9-16. He emphasizes that the Kingdom is not of a carnal nature and remains invisible to those who are wicked. Instead, it is a Spiritual entity that resides within believers, accessible solely to them. Through His teachings, Jesus demonstrates that the Pharisees are devoid of spiritual insight, proving their carnal, wicked, and corrupt nature. Ultimately, He asserts that understanding the Kingdom of God is exclusively reserved for those who believe in Him, underscoring the transformational spiritual blindness that the Pharisees exhibited.
